To use InnerScribe, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

You agree not to use InnerScribe to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems
• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

InnerScribe offers free and paid subscription plans:

• Free tier: Limited features with usage caps
• Pro tier: Full access to all features for a monthly or annual fee
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your billing period
• Your account will revert to the free tier after the billing period ends
• Your journal entries and data will be preserved

You retain ownership of all content you create in InnerScribe, including journal entries, tags, and personal information. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the service
• Use your content for AI analysis to generate insights (your content is not used to train AI models)
• Create backups for data protection purposes

InnerScribe uses artificial intelligence to provide features such as conversational journaling, mood analysis, and insights. Please note:

• AI-generated responses are for reflection purposes only and not professional advice
• AI analysis may not always be accurate
• InnerScribe is not a substitute for professional mental health services
• If you are in crisis, please contact a mental health professional or emergency services

InnerScribe and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

InnerScribe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InnerScribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of InnerScribe after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
